Help your team present its expertise persuasively.

I help teams turn complex material into clear explanations, convincing arguments and presentations that move people towards a decision or action. Through practical workshops and coaching, we work on the communication that matters to your team.

    Client experience

James transformed our seemingly complex pitch into a simple to understand story and value proposition - all without dumbing it down. This enabled us to raise a successful six-figure investment in record time!

James quickly wins the room. His inputs on communication and pitching, particularly for complex deep-tech projects, were invaluable. The quality of the pitches submitted after his workshop made it clear how much the students had benefited.

    Work on real communication

Help your team’s ideas get understood and taken seriously.

Your team knows its work. The challenge is making that knowledge relevant and convincing to people with different backgrounds, priorities and levels of understanding.

    Does this sound familiar?

    • Customers hear the features but miss the value.
    • Colleagues struggle to follow a technical explanation.
    • A recommendation is presented without a convincing case for the decision.

This can show up in customer and partner presentations, product explanations, stakeholder proposals and internal updates.

Learn together. Apply it to your own work.

Practical frameworks, clear examples and guided exercises help participants put the ideas to work. We’ll agree the focus around your team’s goals, audiences and communication challenges.

    Workshops

An interactive session where your team learns and practises together. Relevant examples, exercises and feedback help participants apply the concepts to their own communication.

    Workshops with follow-up coaching

Build on the workshop with individual or small-group coaching. Participants get focused support to develop their presentations, test their arguments and rehearse for important occasions.

Depending on the agreed focus, participants can leave with a clearer message, an improved presentation or a shared framework for developing and reviewing their communication.

    Communicating complex ideas clearly

Make unfamiliar ideas accessible without losing the substance. Choose the detail your audience needs and connect it to what matters to them.

    Building persuasive narratives

Turn a collection of points into a coherent case, connecting context, evidence and value so your audience can follow the argument and see why it matters.

Pitch Basics 101 and Persuasive Pitching are also available for teams presenting a venture, product or investment case.

    The approach

Sharpen the message. Strengthen the delivery.

The three pillars give your team a shared way to develop a message, build a convincing argument and deliver it with confidence.

    01

    Sharpen the message

Clarify your purpose, understand your audience and identify the central idea. Decide what deserves attention and what can be left out.

    02

    Tune for impact

Build a coherent narrative. Connect your argument, evidence and examples, and explain the detail your audience needs to understand and believe your case.

    03

    Hone the delivery

Work on wording, pacing and emphasis. Practise presenting and responding to questions with confidence, in a style that feels like you.

    Who you’ll be working with

I’m James. I’ve built, scaled and sold an education company, led business development in a SaaS scale-up, and spent more than a decade teaching and training. I understand the challenge of getting people to see the value in your work and act on it.

As a trainer and event moderator, I bring energy to the room and help people feel comfortable getting involved. Expect clear explanations, practical frameworks and honest feedback, applied to your team’s own communication.
